14.00 - 18.00 Arrival at EFJY Tikkakoski, transport to the Aviation Museum
18.30   Departure to Hotel Alexandra in Jyväskylä
21.00   Dinner at Hotel Alexandra

Saturday 13th August
09.00   Scandinavian Section Annual meeting
10.15   Departure by bus to the Sauna World, Harvia Sauna
12.00   Departure to Hotel Alexandra
14.30   Departure from Hotel Alexandra to boat harbour
15.00   Boat trip on lake Päijänne.
18.00   Return to Hotel Alexandra
19.00   Departure to Tikkakoski Officers’ Club
20.00   Rotary 100 Years’ Gala Dinner

Sunday 14th August
09.00 Scandinavian Section Annual meeting continued
10.30   Lunch at the Hotel
11.30   Departure by bus to EFJY airport and homeward check-in

Arrival

Friday 12th August. Cb and rainshowers over south Finland. According to the weatherforcast possible few clouds at 300 ft and visibility tempo 4000 meters. But the weather improved and almost all participants arrived in the afternoon.

Sari Harvia-Jyllinmaa transported participates from airport to the aviation museum.
 

Tikkakoski Aviation Museum

         
Manager Kai Mecklin at Tikkakoski Aviation Museum guided us around the museum.

Visit to company Harvia Oy

       
Visit to the world.s leading sauna heater and sauna manufacturer, Harvia Sauna, just outside Jyväskylä.
Some
participates tested the sauna for the first time in their life.
Sari Harvia-Jyllinmaa is one of four owners of the company.

 

The city

   
We also had time to see Jyväskylä city.

 

Boat trip on lake Päijänne

        
Saturday afternoon we made a beautiful boat trip on lake Päijänne.
